Every year, the PTO funds crucial projects for the school with help from parents, teachers and the community. In the past, your donations have helped supply playground equipment, school supplies, a filtered water system, teacher and staff appreciation gifts, technology for the classrooms and so much more.

We hope that you will consider donating to the River Ridge Elementary PTO to help us continue our mission of providing crucial support to the students, teachers, staff and community of River Ridge Elementary. The more we come together in this endeavor, the greater the outcome will be for us all.
But don't public schools receive state and federal funding?
Funds obtained by public schools is dependent on many factors, including attendance, property taxes, students with special needs, students eligible for free and reduced lunch programs and available grant programs. The Administration at River Ridge works very hard to obtain funding for the school and uses those funds as efficiently as possible to benefit students throughout the school to maximize impact.
Because the funds administered by government programs come with oversight to ensure they are being used properly, they often include red tape which limits the ways in which funds can be spent. Utilizing the non-profit status of our PTO, we are sometimes able to provide funding to the school quicker and in non traditional areas that enable us to support our students, teachers, staff and community.
